SRINAGAR,JULY 29 :

JK Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) has hailed the central Governments decision to set up two Central Administrative Tribunals (CAT) at Jammu and Srinagar and called it a praise worthy decision.

In a Press Statement President EJAC Mohd Rafique Rather said that creation of two central administrative tribunals for Jammu and Kashmir is a praiseworthy and a historical move which will provide speedy and affordable justice to employees of Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh.
Rafique Rather said that EJAC has been highlighting this serious issue confronting JK employees for last two years and today finally Centeral Government acceded to our demand and granted sanction to two tribunals at Jammu and Srinager.
He said that the move is a huge relief and convenience for the employees of Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh and added that it will provide affordable and speedy justice to Jammu kashmir and Ladakh employees by adjudicating the disputes arising out of the service matters of employees.

EJAC President also hailed the decision of inclusion of Judicial members in CAT and added that their inclusion will ensure fairness to the disposal of grievances of employees who otherwise would feel deprived of justice in absence of CAT in Jammu Kashmir and had to travel to Chandigarh to get redressal of their service matters.
