KUPWARA, JULY 23 :

At least four persons were injured after a wild bear attacked them at Zurhama village in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Friday afternoon.

Locals told the news agency —Kashmir news observer (KNO) that four persons were attacked by a bear when they were busy with their normal activities in the village, close to the forest area.

All the injured were immediately evacuated to Sub District Hospital (SDH) for treatment, locals said.

Meanwhile, a health official said that four injured persons have been brought to the hospital, saying that they are being treated at present.

Notably, one among the injured is father of an elected representative from the locality—(KNO)
