Handwara, Oct 09: The Handwara Media Association of (HMA) terms the recent actions of self-proclaimed journalists as unfortunate and wants to make it clear that those who are involved in this activity were never members of this association.
In a statement issued here, “The Association also urged the concerned agencies to take strict action against such miscreants who are defaming the name of professional journalists.”
It said, “Our association would also want to state for the record that neither we nor any of our colleagues support, excuse, or justify any crime or criminal act or any such behaviour that is illegal or immoral, especially against any respectable person/ institution.”
