Baramulla 6,November, 2022; Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum hailed the move of Department wherein it sought detachment of teaching officials from various offices.

While welcoming the reformative move Forum’s Spokesperson Bla’ said that Department is serious in improving quality education by relieving all the teachers from various offices which will help teachers ocus on their prime task of teaching.

He said teachers are purely meant for teaching and should be allowed to concentrate on their primary goal of imparting education without any disruption. Spokesperson said that for last many years the Department has remained busy in making deputations and detachment of teachers which has evoked widespread criticism.

Many teachers were on deputations on the pretext of clerical jobs or Cultural Coordinators which consequently has direct impact on the academics in schools. But now the authorities have observed that retaining a teacher in any office isn’t only violation but sheer injustice with the students, he added.

Spokesperson further said that Teachers Forum sought strict implementation of detachment orders being issued by higher authorities from time and again and that CEO’s and ZEO’s will play a vital role in implementation of the said detachment order for the larger intrest of poor students.
