Srinagar, May 16 :

The Jammu and Kashmir Government has set up a fact-finding committee to investigate alleged irregularities in the allocation of user credentials to unauthorized employees in the JK PaySys application in PW (R&B) Division Baramulla.

As per an order issued by the Public Works (R&B) Department, the committee will examine the alleged violation of prescribed procedures in assigning user credentials and scrutinize all records connected with the case.

The inquiry panel comprises Shahnawaz Umer Khan, Chief Accounts Officer, CE PW (R&B) North Kashmir, and Imtiyaz Rasool Bhat, Assistant Accounts Officer from the Administrative Department.

The Government has instructed the committee to carry out a thorough investigation and submit a detailed report within 10 days. (KNC)
