Baramulla: Jammu and Kashmir Rehbar-e-Taleem Teachers’ Forum (JKRETTF) Baramulla on Wednesday accorded a warm welcome to Shri Balbir Singh Raina on assuming charges as new Chief Education Officer (CEO) Baramulla.

In a statement issued here, JKRETTF said a high level delegation lead by its led by District President Baramulla Mohammad Yaqoob Bhat flanked by senior leaders Vice President J&K UT Rahi Irshad, Chief spokesman UT Mohammad Iqbal Bhat, Vice District President Amreek Singh and District General Secretary Reyaz Ahmad Ganai, accompanied by District Executive and Zonal Leadership accorded warm welcome to newly joined CEO Baramulla.

While formally welcoming the CEO Baramulla Shri Balbir Singh District General Secretary Reyaz Ahmad Ganai on the occasion introduced all the Leaders present there and provided a detailed description of organizational structure, educational scenario to the incumbent officer and apprised the officer about the largest trade union in Jammu and Kashmir.

Senior trade union leader and Vice President J&K UT Rahi Irshad while referring to the chair highlighted various issues and expressed hope that the incumbent officer will play pivotal role in mitigating the issues and problems of teachers.

District President Baramulla Mohammad Yaqoob Bhat while referring to the new CEO said, “We always acknowledge and admire your pro-teacher approach, dynamism, administrative experience coupled with honesty. We believe that the education sector of Baramulla district will touch new heights under your dynamic control and will progress on desired lines.”

On the occasion the delegation extended its support and cooperation to the officer from the organization when and wherever needed.

Express gratitude and satisfaction, Chief Education Baramulla Shri Balbir Singh Raina while speaking on the occasion said that teachers are main stake holder of the education department and need of hour to make child our main priority.

“ I assure you every issue of Rehbar-e-Taleem Teachers will be addressed as you comprise major part of human resource in education department but at the same time we need to work for the betterment of our schools and students,” Balbir Singh said.

He further said that Almighty Allah has bestowed us the responsibility of shaping and molding the lives of children which should be top priority.He also assured that each and every issue will be addressed on priority basis.

Meanwhile, officials of ministerial staff of the CEO office Baramulla was present. One this occasion Zonal Leadership took up some issues with CEO Baramulla which were redressed on the spot and action in other cases was assured.
