The march is being organised in support of daily wagers and casual labourers to press for the fulfillment of their long-pending and genuine demands, including regularisation and job security.

Chairman JKReTTF, Mr. Khalid Rafeeq Bhat, while expressing solidarity with the protesting employees, strongly urged the government to fulfil its promises and regularise all daily wagers and casual labourers who have been serving tirelessly for years in various departments without proper service benefits.Mr. Bhat stated, “These hardworking employees have devoted the prime years of their lives to public service. They too have families to support, aged parents to take care of, and dreams to realise. They aspire to see their children educated and their daughters married with dignity. It is high time for the Omar Abdullah-led government to acknowledge their contribution and deliver long-overdue justice.”

He further added that the Jammu and Kashmir Rehbar-e-Taleem Teachers Forum has always stood shoulder to shoulder with the working class and will continue to support every genuine cause aimed at securing their rights and dignity.

Mr. Bhat also appealed to the government to adopt a humane approach towards these employees, recognising their commitment and sacrifices as pillars of the public service system.“Our unwavering support will always remain with this hardworking class until their legitimate demands are met,” Bhat reaffirmed.
