Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, on Sunday, offered condolences to the family of slain retired police officer Mohammad Shafi Mir, killed by terrorists in the Baramulla district of north Kashmir, declaring that those responsible for this barbaric act will not be spared
Expressing deep anguish, Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family of the slain officer. Sinha denounced the heinous act, vowing that those responsible for this barbaric attack would not be spared.
“Pained beyond words on the dastardly terrorist attack on retired police officer, Mohammad Shafi Mir. Cowards responsible for this barbaric act will not be spared. My condolences to the bereaved family in this hour of grief,” stated Lt Governor Manoj Sinha.
Notably, the retired senior police officer Mohammed Shafi Mir, a resident of Gantamulla Bala, was shot dead by terrorists while he was offering prayers inside a mosque on Sunday morning. Shafi Mir had been retired as the Superintendent of Police (SP).
