Dr Sehrish Tours Various Panchayats in Baramulla

BARAMULLA, OCTOBER,29:

Baramulla, October 29: Continuing its extensive tours to Panchayats, the Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Dr Syed Sehrish Asgar today conducted a tour of several panchayats of Boniyar including Nowshera in connection with the fourth phase of Back to Village Programme and took stock of ongoing activities in village Panchayats under B2V4.

During her visit, the DC interacted with the PRIs, visiting officers and public. She also distributed land Passbooks and Soil health cards among beneficiaries.

On the occasion , the Deputy Commissioner took stock of the facilities being provided to the visiting officers of these areas.
Dr Sehrish Asgar also participated in Plantation drive during the ongoing Back to Village Programme

While interacting with people, Dr Syed Sehrish said that the aim and objective of the B2V4 programme is to reach out to the people of the district at their door steps, listen to their demands and issues for early redressal.

Regarding the ongoing Back to Village programme, DC said focus has to be on ensuring that all stakeholders shall voice their opinion freely in a more responsive way regarding development activities and implementation of schemes.

Moreover, the DC appealed to people to come forward and participate enthusiastically in the outreach program.
