A book release function of Annual School Magazine SARHAD was held at BHSS Uri. The program was attended by various dignitaries from School Education and other Departments. Chief Editor AIR Shehrbeen Programe and Incharge Phari Programe Maqsood Khawaja,

The Stage was hosted by Abid Shafi Teacher BHSS Uri. Program started with the recitation of the Holy Quran followed by Naat e Sharif. After that Inaugration of Toycathon Exhibition was done by Principal DIET Baramulla VK Sharma and Principal BHSS Uri Mushtaq Sopori in presence of DNO Toycathon and other dignitaries. The welcome speech was presented by Mtr Neelofar Jabeen Teacher BHSS Uri followed by a brief introductory speech about Uri was delivered by Mtr Mashrooma Bano Teacher BHSS Uri.

Various cultural items were presented by the schools under cluster head BHSS Uri under the Theme Drug De-addiction.
Felicitation ceremony was also held in which Principal BHSS Uri Mushtaq Sopori was felicitated for his dedicated work and tireless efforts. Citation certificates were also presented to Dr Sarwar Ahmad Pandit Lecturer Chemistry, Dr Khalid Nazir Lecturer Mathematics BHSS Uri, Zubair Ahmad Khatlani Mohammad Younis Kakroo Lecturer Commerce BHSS Uri, Amardeep Kour Master BHSS Uri, Neelofar Jabeen Teacher BHSS Uri, Mashrooma Bano Teacher BHSS Uri, Abid Shafi Teacher BHSS Uri, Anwar Jan Teacher BHSS Uri and other Non Teaching Staff.
The dignitaries who spoke on the event include Balbir Singh Raina Chief Education Officer Baramulla, Harmohinder Singh Deputy Chief Education Officer Baramulla, Principal DIET Baramulla Sh VK Sharma, Principal BHSS Uri Mushtaq Sopori and Maqsood Khawaja Editor Shehrbeen AIR Srinagar. All the speakers appreciated the efforts of Principal BHSS Uri Mr Mushtaq Sopori and his dedication & Honesty towards work.
Students of class 10th and 12th who obtained distinction in recently declared results were also awarded for their outstanding performance in the examinations.
Principal BHSS Uri Mr Mushtaq Sopori thanked all the guests for their participation in the program for making this event a successful one.
Later on Vote of thanks was delivered by Mohammed Younus Kakroo Lecturer Commerce BHSS Uri.
