Srinagar, July 13:
Strong earthquake tremors were felt across the Kashmir Valley on Monday, sending residents rushing out of their homes, offices and commercial buildings as a precaution. Tremors were reported from Srinagar and several other districts, triggering panic among the public.
Authorities have begun assessing the situation. As of now, there are no immediate reports of casualties or significant damage to property. Officials have urged people to remain calm, avoid rumours, and follow safety advisories issued by the concerned agencies.
The National Centre for Seismology is expected to release the earthquake’s magnitude, epicentre and other seismic details after official analysis.
