‘Calls for united fight against saffron party, says hand must for plough’
Dooru (Anantnag) Sep 04:
National Conference president Dr Farooq Abdullah Wednesday said that post abrogation of Article 370, it seemed as if BJP wanted to kill every Kashmiri but “thank God we are alive.”
Criticising the BJP’s policies, Dr Farooq said that the intentions of BJP were never clear since day one. “Even today, a boy was killed for having a cow. What kind of thinking is this,” he said addressing a gathering at Dooru, Anantnag as per news agency Kashmir News Observer. He said that it’s time to stay united so that a strong fight is put up against the BJP. “An atmosphere of fear was created in entire J&K post Article 370 roll back. Every Kashmiri thought that they will be killed given the nature and policies adopted by the BJP at the Centre.”
“To run the plough, there is a need of a hand. It is you who have to strengthen this plough and hand to defeat the parties like BJP,” Dr Farooq said.
He said that J&K is the first state that was downgraded to not only one UT but two UTs. “This is for the first time in the history of Indian constitution. So let’s stay united and defeat these forces who are hell-bent to take away J&K’s identity.” He urged people to stay vigilant about the people trying to create a division.—(KNO)
