At least twenty three families shifted to safer places in Zamborpatan village of Uri after landslide and shooting stones hit the chadya ward no. 4 of Zamoorpatan Uri.

Sarpanch Noor Hussain Shah of Zamoorpatan said from yesterday night land slide and shooting stones havoc the area. We shift all 23 families to near households.

“In past few years so many houses were partially damaged due to these shooting stones and landslides mostly during wet weather,”he said.

He appeal Governer administration administration and DC Baramulla to take some steps to stop the shooting stones otherwise it can take human, animal lives anytime.

He added that administration should shift the very close families to other safer places and give shelter and food to the poor families.
