Gulmarg, Feb 1: Two skiers from Poland died while one foreign tourist miraculously escaped unhurt after massive snow avalanche which hit Hapath Khud at Afarwat peak in world famous ski-resort Gulmarg in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

Official said that the avalanche was triggered this afternoon. “ Two bodies have been recovered so far. They are from Poland while another tourist has a miraculous escape”, they said.Meanwhile, a large-scale rescue operation has been launched at the site.Rescue operation has been launched by Baramulla Police alongwith other agencies. More details shall follow.
