An unidentified body was found in Tengan Nowgam area of Central Kashmir Srinagar district on Wednesday morning officials said.
They told news agency that some passersby informed the police about the laying of the body in Nowgam area. Soon, they said, a police party rushed to the spot and recovered the body.
So far, the identity of the deceased could not be made and the same is being carried out.
The body, has been shifted to mortuary at SMHS Hospital Srinagar. “After completing medico-legal formalities and confirming the identification, the body would be handed over to his legal heirs,” he added.
