Wife Arrested For Killing Husband in Srinagar: Police

SRINAGAR, JUNE ,24 :
In a shocking incident, a husband was on Saturday evening killed by his wife in Rawathpora area of Baghat in Srinagar, officials said.
Officials told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a man identified as Abdul Rashid Dar, son of Abdul Kareem Dar of Rawathpora was beaten by his wife this evening.
The victim was immediately taken to the nearby hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.
Police on Saturday evening said that it arrested the accused woman for killing her husband in Rawathpora Baghat area of Srinagar district.
Informing via a tweet, The Srinagar police tweeted, ” One Accused namely Shaheena begum W/o victim late Abdul Rashid Dar R/o Rawathpora Baghat arrested for killing her husband. FIR no.54/2023 u/s 302 of IPC registered in Sadar PS. Prima facie the crime appears to be done in fit of rage, further investigation is on.
