Police under the supervision of Sh. Shokat Ali-JKPS, SDPO Uri assisted by DySP Prob Kubra Nazir, SHO PS Boniyar arrested 2 Drug Peddlers namely Bilal Ahmad Ganie S/O Abdul Gaffar Ganie R/O Trikanjan Boniyar & Siraj-ud-Din Mir S/O Fareed Ahmad Mir R/O Adipora Sopore during naka checking at Lari Boniyar.
During their personal search 13 grams of contraband Heroin & 60 grams of Charas like substance was recovered from them and were taken into custody immediately.
Cases under NDPS Act registered in Police Station Boniyar and investigations set in motion.
General People of the area hailed the efforts of Baramulla Police and showed their willingness to support police to eradicate menace of drugs from the society which is the real sign of Police Public relationship.
