Srinagar, May 25 :

A leopard was captured by the wildlife department in Rafiabad area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Thursday.

An official of the wildlife department told news agency—Kashmir Scroll that they received a call that a leopard was roaming in Rafiabad area.

“Soon after we rushed to the spot and captured the leopard alive,” he said.

Meanwhile, locals hailed the wildlife department Sopore for acting swiftly in capturing the animal as there was panic—(KS)
