MANASBAL(GANDERBAL), SEPTEMBER 19:

The Wullar Manasbal Development Authority (WMDA), in collaboration with a local school, Delight Public School, Kulpora, Manasbal today held a series of awareness camps and sanitation drive in the catchment areas of Manasbal lake to raise awareness among people and stakeholders about conserving the famous water body and ill effects of pollution.
During the rally, participants, comprising students, volunteers and officials of WMDA highlighted the need for maintaining ecological balance and maintaining sanitation around the lake.
Chief Executive Officer, Wullar Manasbal Development Authority, Ahsanul Haq Chishti, highlighting the importance of sanitation, said the Authority as part of its continuous social outreach would continue to conduct such drives with citizen involvement in coming days as well to further raise awareness among people regarding sanitation and preservation of Manasbal lake. He said the Authority has flagged cleanliness within and around the lake as top priority and sought public cooperation in maintaining the same.
He thanked the management, staff and students of Delight Public School for cooperating and participating in the sanitation drive.
