SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 08:

Police on Wednesday claimed to have arrested a woman Over Ground Worker in Aloosa area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district.

A senior Police officer told GNS that based on specific information today a naka was established at Aloosa Bandipora regarding movement of a woman OGW. On being intercepted one grenade and huge numbers of posters of militant outfit were recovered.

The officer further said that on being questioned she (name held) disclosed that she is from Sheeri Baramulla.

After sustained questioning the woman said that she is working as OGW, further questioning is still underway. A case under under ULPA has been lodged in Police station Bandipora, officer added.(GNS)
