Railway official urges public to avoid walking along railway tracks

SRINAGAR, OCTOBER 15 ::

 A 26-year-old youth died after hit by a moving train in central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Friday morning.

Reports reaching GNS said that Feroz Ahmad Malla son of Fayaz Ahmad Malla, a resident of New Colony Samarbugh Lasjan was fatally hit by the train near Nowgam railway station.

The person was evacuated to SMHS Hospital where the doctors declared him as brought dead on arrival.

Meanwhile, confirming the incident, a Railway official urged the people to avoid walking along the railway tracks. “We humbly urge the general public to avoid walking along the railway tracks to avoid any future mishaps”, the official told GNS.(GNS)
