Jammu, Aug 09 :
At least 24 passengers were injured, including two critically, after a matador overturned at Shakuntla Flyover in Jammu on Sunday evening, officials said.
An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the matador was carrying 35 passengers when it overturned at the flyover, leaving 24 of them injured.
He said locals and rescue personnel rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to a nearby hospital for treatment.
“Among the injured, 18 suffered minor scratches, while two were stated to be in critical condition,” he said.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognisance of the incident and initiated an investigation.—(KNO)
