At least seven persons were injured by stray dogs in the Awoora area of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

An official told News Agency that two stray dogs attacked and injured seven persons in the Awoora area of Kupwara on Monday.

He identified injured as Aleeza Waseem daughter of Waseem Ahmad Malik resident of Laderwan, Mir Huzaif son of Gh Mohd Mir resident of Awoora, Aayaz Hameed son of Ab Hameed resident of Awoora, Mam Din son of Mung Khatana resident of Awoora, Manzoor Ahmad Son of Meer Zaman resident of Awoora, Sakeena Begum
wife of Bashir Ahmad resident of Awoora and Ayan Nabi son of Gh Nabi resident of Awoora.

He said that all injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile,locals have requested concerned authorities to look into the matter and take immediate steps in this regard.
