New Delhi: Chandigarh’s Amandeep Singh is set to exibit his innovative smart gas stove modification at the National Technology Week 2023 event inwhich thousands of innovators across India are participating.
Amandeep’s smart has stove is intended to save precious lives lost in major gas leak tragic mishaps. The modification includes a spring mechanism that locks the gas when a utensil is removed, and automatically turns off the lock when the utensil is placed on the gas stove for cooking.
The addition of this safety feature is crucial, especially for families with young children, to reduce the risk of gas-related accidents.
The prototype has been well-received, and Amandeep is excited to showcase it at the National Technology Day event.
The event, which has been extended to National Technology Week, will take place from May 11th to May 14th at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi. The theme for this year’s event is “School to Start-ups: Igniting Young Minds,” highlighting India’s journey in science and technology and inspiring the next generation of tech enthusiasts.
