In the aftermath of the devastating fire in Dal Lake, Srinagar, the recovery teams have identified three victims as Bangladeshi tourists.

Sources told news agency Kashmir Scroll their bodies were retrieved from the debris, underscoring the international impact of this tragic incident. The authorities have now ascertained their identities.

The fire, which engulfed houseboats and huts, has not only left a trail of destruction but has also claimed lives, sending shockwaves through the community. As investigations continue into the cause of the fire, the global tourism community mourns the loss of these visitors who came seeking the beauty of Dal Lake but met an untimely and unfortunate end.(KS)
