New Dehli ,June ,08:
Amid escalating tensions and ongoing hostilities between Iran and Israel, India has issued an advisory for its citizens in Iran, urging them to exercise caution and consider leaving the country at the earliest opportunity.
The Indian Embassy in Tehran has advised Indian nationals to remain vigilant, closely follow local security instructions, and avoid all non-essential travel within the country.
In its advisory, the Embassy has also urged Indian citizens who are planning to travel to Iran to postpone their visits until the security situation improves.
Officials have emphasized the need for Indian nationals currently residing in Iran to stay in touch with the Embassy, keep their contact details updated, and monitor official communications for further instructions.
The advisory comes amid growing concerns over regional security following the latest escalation between Iran and Israel, which has heightened fears of a broader conflict in West Asia.
The Government of India is closely monitoring the situation and remains in contact with its diplomatic missions in the region to ensure the safety and well-being of Indian citizens.
Indian nationals have been advised to avoid unnecessary movement, remain alert, and follow guidance issued by local authorities and the Embassy until further notice.
