Baramulla, 30 October, 2023:

Baramulla Police administrated “Integrity Pledge” in its jurisdictional Police establishments. Hon’ble Lt. Governor administered the oath to DC and SSP Baramulla through video conference in the conference hall DC Office Baramulla.

All Officers and jawans took pledge for zero tolerance to corruption at each Police establishment. 
In District Police Headquarters Baramulla, DySP Hqrs Baramulla Sh Altaf AHmad Khan-JKPS read out the pledge to the officers and jawans.
DySP Hqrs Baramulla on the event said that “we believe that corruption has been one of the major obstacles to economic, political and social progress of our country”. He also stated that all stakeholders such as Governments, citizens and private sectors need to work together to eradicate corruption.

We realise that every citizen should be vigilant and committed to highest standards of honesty and integrity at all times and support the fight against corruption.
We, therefore, pledge:
To follow probity and rule of law in all walks of life;To neither take nor offer bribe;To perform all tasks in an honest and transparent manner;To be accountable for my actions;To act in public interest;To lead by example exhibiting integrity in personal behaviour; To report any incident of corruption to the appropriate agency.

Similarly, at District Police Lines Baramulla  Sh. Peerzada Aijaz AHmad-JKPS, DySP DAR DPL Baramulla administered the Integrity pledge to officers/ Jawans, SDPO Pattan/ Uri/ Tangmarg/ Kreeri and SHOs/DOs also administered the Integrity Pledge to officers/jawans at their respective offices and  jurisdictional police stations/ police posts.
