A Jal Shakti Department vehicle driver and a his helper were killed in a tragic road mishap in Verinag in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Friday afternoon, officials said.
They told GNS that a vehicle of Jal Shakti Department (previously PHE) skidded off the road and plunged into a deep gorge near Raen Chowgund in Verinag, resulting in on spot death of the driver and his helper.
The deceased duo has been identified as Wazir Ahmad Khan (Driver) and Gowhar Ahmad Dar.
Meanwhile a police official has also confirmed to GNS about the death of the duo in the particular incident. (GNS)
