The J&K Power Employees and Engineers Coordination Committee (JKPEECC) on Thursday threatened to boycott of their four demand formula was not met by the government at the earliest.
In a statement issued here, Convener JKPEECC said that the employees will boycott work c from intervening night of 17th and 18th Dec, if none of their 4 point formula presented to the government is accepted by the Administrative Department.
He said that all the repairs and restoration works at 11kV/33kV/132kV or LT level shall not be undertaken at all unless the feeder is supplying to any Hospital and nor any planned shutdown, planned works will be executed.
Besides, the Convener JKPEECC said that No 11kV/33kV feeder shall be rectified for any fault and only medical feeder shall be restored if any fault arises.
“Even 11kV/33kV feeder to CM house/HLG Raj Bhawan / Civil Sectt./Prominent Govt. Installation shall not be restored in case of any fault,” he said.
“All the staff on field duty in Srinagar shall assemble at JKPDD complex Bemina and be present from Chief Engineer to Junior Engineers level from 10:30am. The staff from other districts shall assemble at District Headquarters/ Circle offices,” he added.
He said the employees will continue to boycott work unless govt gives written assurance to shelve the proposal of JV of JKPTCL with PGCIL.
Also, he said, that the govt should issue white paper on non fulfillment of the recommendations of the Unbundling report and the failure to create the positions as mandated by the committee at Gazetted and Non-Gazetted levels, regularisation of PDL’s/TDL’s, DPC of Non-Gazetted staff, regularisation of all PDD Engineers etc.,
Besides it, the Convener JKPEECC demanded delinking the salary from Grant in Aid and releasing regular budget for all PDD employees on deputation to different corporations.
He also sought white paper of service conditions of PDD Employees on deputation to CVPPPL vis a vis the similarly situated employees deputed from NHPC and the complete management control usurped by NHPC.
“The path of confrontation is being pushed by Government and unless the Govt comes up with a concrete resolution of the afforsaid issues, the PDD Employees shall be forced to proceed on work boycott,” Convener JKPEECC added.
