In a major crackdown on illegal betting, Police Station Gandhi Nagar under the supervision of Ssp Jammu & SP South, A team activated by SDPO south arrested four individuals involved in unauthorized gambling. Acting on reliable sources, the police conducted a raid at House No. 92/C, Shastri Nagar, Jammu, uncovering a betting operation in progress.
During the raid, the police team found four individuals inside a room, where a live IPL match was being broadcast on an LED TV, and ₹2 lakh in cash, 08 mobile phones, 01 laptop, and 05 notebooks were found scattered on the bed. The suspects failed to provide any satisfactory answers regarding the money and devices. On attempting to flee, they were immediately apprehended by the police.

4. Adish Raina @ Adish (S/O Bharat Bhushan, R/O Dogra Ground, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu)

✔ 01 Laptop
✔ 05 Notebooks
✔ 01 LED TV (used for streaming live IPL matches)
Following the raid, all accused were arrested on the spot, and the recovered items were seized as evidence. A case FIR No. 78/2025 U/S 112 BNS has been registered at Police Station Gandhi Nagar, and further investigation is underway.
